Jolanta Krukowska, together with director Weronika Szczawińska, returns to her 1994 work — the performance “The Path of Little Red Riding Hood” — and subjects it to creative reworking. The result is a surprising stage statement about the body, femininity and the artist’s identity. Returning to Krukowska’s personal archive, associated mainly with the Akademia Ruchu theatre, is a fascinating journey not only into an individual practice but also into the recent, inspiring past of performance art in Poland.
