About the event

“A woman, unfortunately, must be adorned with hair and teeth, a slim waist and arms (not to mention legs). It is a reliable weapon in the hard and unequal daily struggle with her own husband, her own boss and other properties of the opposite sex.”

From the youngest years women are told, written to, and shown what they should be like. There are countless beauty, dating and fashion tips. That’s why we will comically dismantle what colorful magazines and women’s guides have been instilling in us for ages. Because the modern woman doesn’t have to do anything, she can do everything — and above all she can laugh at how things used to be: laugh at herself and at others.

Bring a friend and drop in for a completely unique Women’s Day. Take your mother and sister to laugh about what pop culture used to (and sometimes still does) try to teach us. Invite your girlfriend, wife, partner and take comfort in the fact that, fortunately, it’s no longer how it used to be. We know that not only women struggle with stereotypes — so just come by to laugh at myths and take comfort that maybe things are getting a bit better.
