Discover the fun of carving in linocut with us!
During the workshop you will design and carve a unique matrix yourself, then print several impressions on a professional printing press. You might want to create a Valentine’s card to express your feelings to someone special. Or it could be a gift for yourself.
Linocut is a relief printing technique where the matrix is made of linoleum and the design is carved into it with a gouge or knife. This technique was popularized in fine art prints in the early 20th century.
All necessary materials and tools will be provided on site. We will appreciate it if you bring something nice to share on the neighborhood table.
