We invite you to workshops with Mrs. Danuta Lech – an experienced weaver who, for 17 years at the Linen Industry Plant in Żyrardów, created hundreds of thousands of meters of jacquard fabrics. She learned weaving as a child from her grandmother. It has remained her greatest passion, whose secrets she gladly shares. During the classes, we will discover the secrets of working in a workshop that refers to the tradition of the royal manufactory. We will see what working on jacquard looms is all about. We will learn about the role of the shuttle, weft, warp, and perforated cards with recorded fabric patterns in the process of creating extraordinary textiles. We will learn to weave on jacquard looms.
