PHOTOGRAPHY IS EVERYWHERE is the first exhibition in Poland about photography for children, which premiered at last year's Fotofestival. In Warsaw, we will see its latest edition - inviting both children and adults to experience it. Do you know what a spider's eyes really look like or the surface of the moon? What toys do children play with in different parts of the world or what do they wear? The new exhibition at the House of History Meetings introduces children and adults to the fascinating world of photography and makes us aware of its impact on our lives. It encourages us to look at this phenomenon from many different perspectives and... it's great fun, regardless of age. Photography is everywhere. Artists, journalists, doctors, architects, space and deep-sea researchers, teachers, police officers, and travelers use it. And we all tell each other about ordinary events and document the most important moments of our lives through photography every day. Today, we can't imagine life without it. But what would happen if photography had never been invented? What wouldn't we know without photography? PHOTOGRAPHY IS EVERYWHERE is an exhibition that must be explored like a true traveler, discovered like a fearless detective, and analyzed like an outstanding scientist. What role you choose is entirely up to you. At this exhibition, everyone realizes that a world without photography would be smaller, duller, and less fun. It would be a completely different world. The colorful and interactive space of the PHOTOGRAPHY IS EVERYWHERE exhibition is filled with objects and photos in various formats and types, from microphotography to photographs of the moon's surface. Illustrations were prepared by Ola Cieślak, a popular author of books for the youngest. The exhibition also features works by renowned photographers: Carolle Benitah, Gabriele Galimberti, Karolina Jonderko, Kacper Kowalski, Karolina Maliszewska, Bruce F. Molnia, Eadweard Muybridge, Louis H. Pedersen, Ireneusz "Irass" Walędzik, Irmina Walczak & Sávio Freire. Topics such as the passage of time, climate change, travel, family memories, and whether photos always tell the truth are addressed. The curators of the PHOTOGRAPHY IS EVERYWHERE exhibition are Katarzyna Sagatowska, Monika Szewczyk-Wittek, and Marta Szymańska. Partners include the Fotofestival International Photography Festival in Łódź and the Contemporary Art Gallery in Opole, where the exhibition has already been presented to the public. Premiere.
