Until now, SpoilerMaster has primarily promoted world cinema classics, but the time has come for a new chapter: in collaboration with Warsaw's Kino Elektronik, Michał Oleszczyk has prepared a special series of screenings aimed at promoting Polish cinema and its classic titles. 'Polish cinema is very close to me, especially when I can watch its classics in a large hall with a sizable audience. Then I feel that these films are alive. That they speak to us — closely, intensely, personally. For over a decade, I have had the pleasure of participating in various screenings of Polish classics in different parts of the world, and I have often witnessed how our films can emotionally impact audiences as diverse as the residents of Tokyo, Dublin, or New York. But this time, I would like to invite the audience of Kino Elektronik, a place close to me on the Żoliborz map, where I have lived for ten years, to meet our classics. The series of films I have selected includes both returns to absolute classics and reminders of lesser-known, sometimes forgotten gems. Before each screening, I will give a short introduction, and after the screenings, I will lead a discussion aimed at better understanding how and what the creators of classic Polish films are saying to us. We will start with the 'crazy seventies,' and it will only get more interesting from there! Stanisław Bareja) The adventures of director Krzakoski (Krzysztof Kowalewski), who realizes that 'romances on business trips' can have serious consequences, served Stanisław Bareja in creating a great comedic fresco in which Poland during the Gierek era resembles a nightmarish Bosch painting, only reflected in a distorted mirror.
