    About the event

    The Warsaw Ghetto Museum invites you to a walk through the former Warsaw Ghetto. 📅 September 14 (Saturday), 11:00 AM 📍 Meeting point: ul. Konopacka 16 📍 End of the walk: ul. Jagielońska ⏳ Duration: approx. 2 hours During the walk, we will visit places where the most important Jewish organizations operated after the war – the Central and Provincial Committee of Jews in Poland, Bund – and learn about the functioning of post-war Jewish schools and shelters for repatriates. We will also talk about figures associated with Jewish life in post-war Warsaw: Binem Heller, Salomon Łastik, Rafael Chwoles, Jakub Rotbaum, and Bernard Mark. We will visit the addresses where they lived. The walk will be led by Dr. Wiesława Młynarczyk from the MGW Education Department. Participation in the event is free. We warmly invite you!
