Portraits of women, nudes, treated by the artist as a metaphor for various emotional processes, as a reality that is simultaneously physical and psychological. Quoting Maria Poprzęcka, referring in her dissertation “The Nude - an imperfect form” to Lynda Nead: “The female nude can be considered a metaphor for processes of separation, ordering, and the formation of the »self« and the space of the »other«.
