    About the event

We warmly invite employees of Warsaw cultural centers and cultural institutions to the next competency workshops. The September meeting will be dedicated to peer supervision. We live in times of instability, while being dependent on institutional support, still waiting for new programs and grant competition results. What if the extensive support for Warsaw's cultural staff suddenly begins to dwindle? Can those who have already benefited from dozens of trainings and undergone strengthening processes share their competencies with others? We want to show how to effectively build support networks in the cultural environment, which organize themselves and rely on peer exchange of coaching and supervisory competencies. We believe that mutual help is what can be a remedy for the uncertainty of tomorrow. For whom: - The workshop, aimed at employees of Warsaw cultural institutions, focuses on the practice of peer supervision as a tool to counteract burnout and strengthen the community. - Participants will learn how to conduct supervisory meetings based on a simple structure and supportive communication principles. - The goal is to equip the group with competencies that will allow them to share experiences, seek solutions in difficult professional situations, and build real networks of mutual help. Workshop goals: - Introduction to the method of peer supervision as a support tool and burnout prevention. - Learning the principles of conducting supervisory meetings. - Practicing the method in small groups. - Developing ideas for implementing supervision into their work. - Creating the foundation of a support network in the cultural environment. Effects: - Participants will be able to independently conduct peer supervision sessions, understand its potential, and have ready ideas for further practicing this method in their workplaces. Facilitators: - Magda Jasińska – certified trainer, cultural animator, and researcher. She loves working with and for people. Accompanying change gives her great satisfaction and a sense of purpose. Member of the Trainers Association of Non-Governmental Organizations. She collaborates with NGOs and cultural institutions.
