    About the event

    The exhibition "Around Closeness" addresses a topic important to every person - closeness. In the context of tenderness, memory, experiencing loss, and integrating it. This is a photography exhibition. Three original photographic and photo-therapeutic projects by artists who creatively processed their experiences related to the passing of loved ones will be showcased. There will also be a program of accompanying events. Program of accompanying events: 📅 17.09 Wednesday, 7:00 PM - opening, curatorial tour, meeting with the artists 📅 19.09 Friday, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM - workshop by Dorota Raniszewska: "Closeness – family photographs, memories, and working with memory" | Led by Dorota Raniszewska. The workshop was previously conducted during exhibitions such as "Prawobrzeżne" at the Museum of Warsaw Praga and "Forget-me-nots Bloom in January" at the Rotational House of Culture in Warsaw. 📅 04.10 Saturday, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - workshop by Katarzyna Haftek-Lis: "Mindfulness of closeness. What is closeness and how to nurture it with mindfulness." Author-led tour. 📅 05.10 Sunday, 1:00 PM - author-led tour by Marta Wojnarowska-Olszewska 📅 14.10 Tuesday, 7:00 PM - closing event, meeting with the artists We have received the honorary patronage of the Mayor of the Warsaw Praga-North District, media patronage from Analog Magazine, and patronage from IDŚ.
