During this course, you will learn the basics of the Monoscene format, and at the same time: - improve your group scenes, - discover the beauty of organic games, - ignite or elevate your character creation to a higher level, - feel confident in raising the stakes and building tension. You will learn to collaborate better, as well as take the lead and direct when the situation requires it. You will practice stage lying and using subtext. This format is a beautiful space for organically seeking comedy, which is why I especially recommend it to fans of situational humor. I have completed dozens of workshops and intensives with trainers from around the world, including iO, The Second City, Hoopla!, and UCB, as well as read numerous books, watched performances, and played in shows. I developed my stage skills in several groups, including trios and duos, where I practiced (and still practice) various styles and formats of improv. I started in Wrocław, and after moving, I ran the Kuźnia Impro Improvisation School in Kraków for over 3 years. Currently, my base is in Warsaw, and I teach, train, and coach all over Poland.
