The workshops stimulate creative thinking and inspire playing with language patterns, metaphors, and word ambiguities. They draw on creative writing techniques, the style of aphorisms, and other short literary forms, showing how to express thoughts in concise, unconventional slogans. They are based on simple and effective group writing methods, which are also helpful in developing individual writing skills. Loesje writing will be preceded by short literary form workshops at 12:00. - Separate registration is required for these here: https://loesje.pl Please use tickets responsibly. If you're unsure you can attend, wait for an event you are certain you can join. - If you book tickets for two Loesje events and fail to attend either, you will lose the opportunity to participate in future meetings this year. - If you notify your absence no later than the day before the event (e.g., Saturday for a Sunday event), your registration will be canceled and will not count towards the application pool. 🌿 The event is part of the project "Creativity | Beyond Imagination," implemented with the support of the City of Warsaw and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the National Center for Culture program: Culture - Interventions. Edition 2025. ✍️ Loesje [luszje], in Polish Lusia or Luśka, is a spirited, forever young-at-heart Dutchwoman. She lent her name to a group of people who believe that posters can spark a revolution. Slogans signed with her name reflect this optimistic approach. Instead of lecturing, they encourage reflection and discussion, as well as a critical but constructive perspective.
