Can a river speak? With all my heart, I invite you to the exhibition "I Am the Vistula," which will take place on Warsaw's boulevards starting June 17, 2025. This is a project I co-create as a photographer – but above all, as a person who believes that art can truly influence how we treat nature. 📍 General Patton Boulevards, Warsaw (near the pedestrian and bicycle bridge) 📅 Premiere: June 17 at XX o'clock. The exhibition will run until October 30, 2025. In my photographs, I try to capture the mystical, wild, often unnoticed face of the Vistula. They are accompanied by installations by Tanja Andrejasic Wechsler, which remind us that water is not a resource – it is life. "I Am the Vistula" is: - Art in public space - The voice of a river that wants to remain wild and clean - An invitation to reflection and conversation - Images that tell more than words What can you expect? This project is about the fact that the Vistula matters – to us, to future generations, to all of Poland. And about the fact that each of us has an impact on its fate. The premiere is a great opportunity to talk with the creators and organizers of the exhibition. Why are we doing this? What do we want to convey? The Vistula is not just a landscape – it is a living river that deserves cleanliness and respect. It deserves to be discovered. The exhibition confronts us with the brutal truth about the state of our rivers, but at the same time gives hope. We can have rivers where you can swim, whose water can be drunk after treatment. I would be grateful if you came. Bring your family, friends, children – and a moment of your time to hear the river.
