The researcher will introduce key figures – theorists Aleksander Wojciechowski and Juliusz Starzyński – and talk about the activities of the Contemporary Gallery and Golden Circle, whose achievements are featured in the exhibition. The archival part of the exhibition, dedicated to the phenomenon of environment in the Foksal Gallery, will be discussed by Katarzyna Krysiak, who will present the programmatic assumptions and experimental character of the gallery during its first decade.
