The season, as capricious as its weather, is not over yet, and the venue remains unchanged – we stay in the most beautiful spot by the Vistula River, at Czerniakowski Peninsula, until the end of September. In this jubilee tenth season of Miami Wars, we are fulfilling our dreams. Maybe yours too. 🎶 On the last Sunday of summer vacation, we invite you to intimate concerts by Tomek Makowiecki and Daniel Bloom. You will hear them together and separately. There is probably no better setting for such subtle and exceptional artistry than Miami Wars. Discover the river side of the city and follow us. Follow the river! - Tomek Makowiecki An artist who likes to disappear for long years, only to return when no one remembers he was supposed to come back. Born in Gdynia in 1983, musically – somewhere between electronics, melancholy, and sounds that perfectly suit nighttime city walks or staring at the ceiling at three in the morning, whether in the arms of a loved one or longing for those arms. He debuted as one of Poland's first “idols,” but quickly distanced himself from the pop style and moved toward alternative music – first with Makowiecki Band, then solo. In 2007, he surprised with an exceptionally mature, hypnotically gentle album "Ostatnie wspólne zdjęcie." In 2013, he released "Moizm," a dark, personal, and equally well-received album, after which... he disappeared underground. He returned only in 2024 with the album "Bailando" – and no, it’s not danceable Latino. It’s more of a poignant, subdued alarm in your head – seize the moment. Melancholic and stylish, with beautiful quotes from the 80s. All Tomek – always a bit on the side, always on his own terms. - Daniel Bloom A master of moods and film music – effortlessly able to illustrate contemplation, existential anxiety, and unrequited love with sound. His music uplifts not only during nighttime drives through empty cities. By education, an archaeologist; by profession – the creator of unforgettable soundtracks and an exceptional composer. He combines ambient and electronics, finds his place in the world of jazz and analog crackles. He created music for films such as "Tulipany," "Wszystko, co kocham," "Nieulotne," and "Słodki koniec dnia" – generally: if something hurts, longs, or smells like summer, it’s probably Daniel Bloom playing. He also creates original productions – such as the hypnotic "Thorn" or "Lovely Fear." On the latter album, he collided synthesizers with the voices of Mela Koteluk, Gaba Kulka, and Tomek Makowiecki himself. 📅 Sunday, 31.08, 6:30 PM Follow the River TOMEK MAKOWIECKI DANIEL BLOOM 🎟️ free entry
