The Mokotów District Office of the capital city of Warsaw, together with the Sports and Recreation Center and the SŁUŻEWIEC Housing Cooperative, cordially invite everyone to actively participate in the sports picnic titled 'Time for Training.' 📅 September 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the green areas around the sports facilities of OSiR Mokotów at Niegocińska Street 2, numerous recreational and sports attractions await you. Everyone will find something for themselves – both the youngest and seniors will have a great time. Mokotów sports clubs and non-governmental organizations will ensure movement through exciting events, prize competitions, a wheel of fortune, running, and archery. These are just a few of the many activities prepared for you this year by the organizers and event partners. On stage, there will be sports demonstrations by Mokotów clubs that have been operating in Mokotów for many years. At the tents of non-governmental organizations, you can learn about the specifics of sports disciplines, try them out, and enroll children in classes. The wide range of sports training offered in the district includes not only popular team games like football, basketball, or volleyball but also fencing, sailing, baseball, dancing, lacrosse, and broadly understood combat sports. It is worth taking advantage of the offer of Mokotów sports clubs. On the sports field, you will find skill competitions and the opportunity to participate in a flying start sprint. For the youngest and slightly older participants, there will be inflatable devices, a mega obstacle course, archery, and bows. We invite you to the bicycle stations to prepare your favorite cocktail yourself. To capture your good mood on this day, be sure to use the photo booth. We encourage the youngest viewers to participate in the play titled 'What Emotion Is It?' performed by the Kraków Fairy Tale Theater. The play will start around 3:00 PM, followed by animations. Numerous skill competitions and prizes are prepared for residents. - Family competitions are prepared on the basketball court. - At the sports club stands, you can obtain a skill card where you collect stamps for activities. Collecting 5 stamps entitles you to play the Wheel of Fortune and receive a prize. The Wheel of Fortune is located in the tent of the Mokotów District Office. Note: This year, the Wheel of Fortune along with stamp collection operates from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Our picnic will end with a magical show by illusionist Maciej Piskorz at 5:30 PM, who will blend into the crowd of picnic visitors earlier and animate by appearing unexpectedly in various places.
