    Museum of Warsaw's Praga The exhibition "Found. The Past and Future of Kamionek" at the Museum of Warsaw's Praga will run from April 9 to September 28, 2025. 📅 The exhibition's opening and book premiere will take place on April 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Museum of Warsaw's Praga. Marcin Wicha and Agnieszka Rayss, fascinated by Kamionek, created an exhibition and a book showcasing this lesser-known part of Warsaw's right bank. In 2022, the Museum of Warsaw's Praga invited the duo to lead a walk through Kamionek. This shared journey became a significant milestone in their work on the exhibition and book. Words and photography complement each other, creating a unique mosaic of stories. The exhibition "Found. The Past and Future of Kamionek" will feature objects and archival materials from the Museum of Warsaw's Praga collection, contemporary photographs by Rayss, and even... cobblestones from the grounds of the former Veterinary Institute (now Sinfonia Varsovia). The book "Kamionek" consists of several short texts in which Wicha, with his characteristic love for detail and appreciation of seemingly insignificant things, maps out journeys through time and space. Rayss's photographs, created for the publication, demonstrate how different perspectives can meet and intersect in surprising ways. Together, they have crafted a unique story not only about Kamionek but also about how one can observe a city. The exhibition will be accompanied by walks, workshops, and a rich educational program.
