Festival "Puppet on Stage" The jubilee "Puppet on Stage" opens the new school year. Join us on September 6 and 7 at the New Town Market Square. Admission to all performances is free. The event is co-financed by the City of Warsaw. This edition will be exceptional! As every year, it will be an unforgettable, family-friendly, and emotional time, during which outstanding artists will present their performances and invite you into the magical world of street theater. Artists from the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Hungary will perform on stage, along with three remarkable productions from Poland. The international character of the event and the presence of outstanding creators from various countries are not only a source of pride but also proof of the strength, diversity, and universality of puppet theater – says Grażyna Karwowska-Winiarek, Festival Director and President of the Meritum Foundation named after Zbyszek Winiarek.
