Five days of preview include: 📅 September 19 (Friday) from 12 PM to 7 PM - at 3 PM - guided tour with the artist and curator 📅 September 20 (Saturday) from 12 PM to 7 PM - at 3 PM - guided tour with the artist and curator 📅 September 21 (Sunday) from 12 PM to 7 PM - at 3 PM - guided tour with the artist and curator 📅 September 22 (Monday) from 12 PM to 7 PM 📅 September 23 (Tuesday) from 12 PM to 7 PM "Strike of Love" The protagonist of "Strike of Love" is a young Polish woman struggling with difficulties in making decisions. In her mind, discussions unfold, with each thought bringing more questions and fewer answers. The surrounding reality seems to offer solutions to her problems: on TV, they propose stretching machines; in offices, other citizens sign declarations without hesitation; politicians try to embrace her, but she gently slips out of their arms and floats above them. Although it's a personal matter, she observes it lightly from a distance, trying not to drown her reflections in a loop of negative experiences but rather focusing on the idea of love and the belief that this love is stronger than hate. "Strike of Love" tells the story of the complex relationship many Polish women have with Poland. A relationship that is not often thought about but fills everyday life and affects its quality. In the face of contemporary informational chaos, the overwhelming need to stay updated on events in the country, the burden of ongoing political discussions rich in hurtful words, and the clash with painful and unjust decisions by authorities, we expose our bodies and minds to a rain of needles—stimuli that leave us with fear and stress about our future. In such circumstances, it is hard to find the courage to speak openly about love for Poland, which sends an unrelenting artillery of blows our way, yet is often loved despite these blows. And there is a timid belief that even if love is not yet stronger than hate, it has more patience to one day reverse these roles. Klaudia Prabucka
