We invite you on a journey into autumn tranquility. Accompanied by acoustic instruments and forest sticks, pinecones, and dry leaves, we sing songs about nature. We move and play old games. An interactive concert full of onomatopoeic sounds, whistles, and rustles. We talk about nature in traditional scales and rhythms of folk music. We learn about the autumn habits of forest animals. We are inspired by folklore. To save old music from being forgotten - we have become attached to it. This way, it won't escape us. We play on handmade instruments. We enjoy visiting forest kindergartens, playing in nature. We prefer working with intergenerational groups, with children, their parents, and entire communities. Our concerts are an excuse to build community. By passion, we are singers, dancers, musicians, and children's activity animators. By education, we are ethnographers, folk dance instructors, graduates of the Gordon Course, Bullerbyn, and Forest Guides. We are close to forest education, attachment-based approaches, democratic pedagogy of Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori. In working with children, we follow the NVC approach. --- The event is part of the Forest Cultural Center cycle. The Forest Cultural Center is an initiative that combines nature, culture, and the local energy of Bielany residents. It is a space created with you in mind - your well-being, the need to be part of a community, and the desire for closeness to nature. In a world full of rush and screens, we offer something different - time outdoors, meetings with people, creative activities, movement, and relaxation. The Forest Center is not a building - it is ideas and activities taking place in parks, forests, and green corners of Bielany. --- Samogłoska is a Local Activity Center that supports the ideas and social actions of residents. As far as possible, we provide space and resources for non-commercial events, neighborhood, local activities, or integration. At Samogłoska, you will meet new people and spend your free time pleasantly in a casual atmosphere. Here, you can share your passions and interests, get to know and change our immediate surroundings, and build a stronger local community.
