Swing parties at DZiK have a 10-year history! This is an extraordinary place where we feel and have always felt welcome, a place that has seen millions of swingouts and smiles. It witnessed the first steps of many Warsaw dancers, both students and instructors. 📍 House of Fun and Culture DZiK ul. Belwederska 44A 🕒 Start: 20:00 💰 Entry: 15 PLN Event schedule: - Upstairs: 20:00 - 22:00 - Balboa practice - Main hall: 20:00 - 24:00 - swing music with varied tempos, served by the DJ Team Safety: - During dancing, avoid lifts and acrobatic figures - they pose a risk to other dancers. - Be mindful of those dancing around you. On a crowded dance floor, it's easy to step on or kick someone. We encourage avoiding shoes with hard heels. - We recommend disinfecting or washing your hands between dances. - Stay home if, in the past few days, you have been in contact with someone sick with COVID-19 or feel unwell. Good fun, empathy, and respect: - Please do not bring your own alcohol to the club. - First time at a dance party? Don't be afraid to step onto the dance floor. Everyone you see in front of you started once too! - If you feel uncomfortable dancing with someone, it's okay to thank them and end the dance early! You can explain why, but you don't have to. - If you don't feel like dancing with someone, want to rest, or simply aren't in the mood to dance - you can decline. About Swingout.pl: Since 2009, we have been regularly conducting classes in Warsaw on swing dances from the first half of the 20th century, such as Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, and Balboa. We are also actively involved in organizing workshops and events promoting both dance and swing music.
